My name is Kristi with a passion in family genealogy and connecting with relatives.  My Great Great Grandma is Bertha (Koentopf) Knop.  Her sister supposedly was Anna Koentopf Leatherman Huesman.  The mother of your mother.  My Great Aunt Vi told me they came to the US as orphans and had a brother Willie who is maybe died in the Hinkley Fire of 1892.  Also, my second cousin told me they immigrated with the Hass family from Horicon Wisconsin.  I would love to connect with you. I hope you are feeling better!  I do have some photos and stories if you are interested.  All the best.
